Only candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation.
Qualifications:
- Studied up to 10th Standard
- Must possess Motor Vehicle Driving License of at least 3 years standing with
endorsement for driving heavy good vehicles and drivers badge.
- Proficiency in driving heavy duty vehicles to be proved in a practical
test.
- Medical fitness.
Ear- hearing should be perfect.
Eye- Distant Vision 6/6 snellen
Near Vision- 0.5 snellen ,Colour Vision -Normal
Nervous System – Perfectly Normal. Free from all infections and deceases. - Night blindness- Nil
Muscles and joints – no paralysis and all joint with free movements.
Note:1. A practical test including Ground Test (H Test ) to assess the proficiency in driving will be conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission. Only those who qualify in the Ground Test (H test ) will be considered for Road Test.
2. Candidates should possess current Motor driving license throughout in all the stages of selection process as on the last date of receipt of application, objective/written Test, Practical test, Interview etc.
3. Candidates should produce a Medical Fitness Certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon and a Medical Certificate regarding the vision obtained from an ophthalmologist in Government Service (in the prescribed form) as and when called for by the Commission.
